  • Understand the basics of business continuity management (international standards, phases, terminology)
  • Learn how to define an adequate policy and governance in the context of BCM
  • Learn how a Business Continuity Plan (BCP) is set up from from inception to testing
  • Be able to actively participate to or support the realization or activation of a BCP
  • Be able to investigate the adequacy of a BCM program or of an individual BCP with respect to an organization's ambitions and policies

  • Introduction to BCM (definitions, phases and basic concepts)
  • Typical roles and responsibilities
  • Challenges when setting up a BCM program or an individual BCP

  • Business Impact Analysis (BIA)
  • Business Continuity Plan
  • Test plan and reporting

  • Practical exercises (participants will perform a BIA and build a BCP as well as a test scenario based on a fictitious case)
